Now i feel bad :/. Like you said their work is top knotch. I never thought they would do this to you. Maybe i should swing by and ask wtf lol. Thats the delima. They may take long, but fpr me the time vs quality isnt a choice. Even if they were backed up and took it just to make the repair knowing it would sit 2 months, id be pissed but try to get money back. Its better than taking it anywhere and paint not being exact or frame off a hair. Like i said, i would just be pissed the timeline is so off.
No, just CF NSX-R hood and 02+ rear valence (and some other minor tweaks).
No worries. They are making progress now, so I'm happier.
Nice touch. I hope they for sure will the shop will be welding it in, rather than just bonding. I have yet to see any bonding job without issues down the road. Good luck.
Yes, he's definitely welding the plate in. No bondo or filler will be used at all. The rear sidemarkers and antenna hole are also being shaved.

Maybe it will be done by the show..... That would be cool. Glad you got rid of those ugly markers and attena hole. Maybe ill do that too down the road.
:frown: Probably not. I'll be travelling the week prior and won't have enough time to install coilovers and fit new rims.

Sorry to hear the news about the accident and delay in acquiring those parts. I too ordered some of those parts (new headlight assemblies) back in August. The headlights were coming up as back-ordered but luckily my parts girl and I were able to pull a few strings and the order was expedited and shipped from Honda Japan.
Good luck with the repair. Car looks sweet (prior to accident) and I'm sure it will turn out nicely when its all done.

My bros isf is there now. Took it in for a wet sand. There were blemishes in paint. Ill post up how it came out later.

Oh, when he got car we think it had waterspots that dried into the paint. Lexus owners were complaining the paint was cheap eco paint. So on hood and all down doors were what looked like white water spots. He took the car to several places up north where he lived, but they told him he needed to take it to a very good wet sander. He took it to ryan who got all the minor ones out and most of the major ones and they detailed his car for autocon.
