I have just repaired my aircon controller but on replacement teh fan no longer works (used to work only on high). After some research i see it can also be related to the fan that i am in the process of pulling out to give strip down and grease as i have read that thsi can fix the issue.
There was a loud ticking sound when the aircon tried to be put on, though only when the upper vents were selected. Is this something that i should be concerned about, or is this related to the fan?
Just trying to get ahead of any other issues that pop up. The car has been off the road for over 6 months and i am starting to get really frustrated.......
