In June, I found out about the F1 gearbox to be put in the 2nd gen NSX and did a posting on it in the summer. Well finally the Jan. issue of Motor Trend gives confirmation to this fact. However, I forgot to post that there is a strong possibility of magnesium wheels being offered due to taking unsprung weight into a heavier NSX. Is it me or is the artist rendering of the 2nd gen rear view angle "fugly" (F**king ugly). From the article speculation is 2004/05 model, v8 engine with greater than 400hp, Ferrari undertray, glass engine cover, glassed in lights ala s2000, steel bodywork, and F1 gearbox. No word on price but in talking with my sources there was no such talk in having it priced in the $50/55k category. I firmly believe it will be Porsche 911 pricing.
