Need help with Nose Mask (Bra)

Hello Houstonians,

I'm picking up a 2000 NSX next week out of state, and driving her home over a thousand miles to Houston, so if anyone who has a nose mask (bra) for sale, or one that I can borrow for a week, please contact me. Thanks!

blue painter tape will do the job.

Is that blue painter tape the same as those 2" wide racer's tape?

No they aren't, racers tape is a stronger version of "duct tape". You can use blue painters tape to protect your front end, but be aware it will come loose if you encounter rain or heavy fog. The bra you purchased will work well for your trip, just make sure the inside of the bra is clean, as well as, the front of your car when you put it on. Any dirt will abrade the paint surface, and don't leave the bra on if it gets wet followed by sunshine. The moisture trapped underneath can cause a cloudy haze to form on your paint. Have a safe trip.

Looks like it has a WW kit front lip? Do you know if the NSX bra will fit over the lip? I'm bringing some racer's tape along as backup in case the bra won't fit.

Now that I cannot answer and I don't recall if George's NSX has a lip or not. Another consideration for front protection is a product called Road Wrap, it's a temporary clear plastic material that can be left on for up to a week and then peeled off.

I drove mine 1200 miles from Arizona to Houston with blue painters tape. Had no issues taking it off, would recommend as a cheap alternative.

I had to drive to Virginia from Houston, used painters tape and it worked great no problem. Over 1k miles!
