My new 1991 87k miles. I have a few changes in mind so that I can make it mine. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii so shipping is always a thing. Does anyone have any recommendations on Acura/NSX websites or parts suppliers.

Congrats on the new pickup. Great looking ride.

Hello and welcome! Nice ride.

Was the car already in Hawaii?

Here are my go-to places
https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index.php/nsx.html
https://www.thensxshop.com

I also recommend getting a membership at https://nsxca.org
They have list of dealers/shops that provide discounts. Depending on how much you buy, it can pay for the membership.
I picked up a membership a week ago but can't find this information on the site. Where is this listed?

He bought and shipped it from the L.A. area 6 years ago.

I can only image the limitations of finding the perfect car on an island. Glad you found this gem.
Any future plans?

Go to "NSX Driver" and find the latest issue. Towards the end, you will find a page with all the discounts. You will have to contact the vendor and share your membership number to get the discount.

The first thing will be to change the timing belt. The previous owner put less than 12k miles in the 6 years he owned it and was told the belt had been changed sometime prior to that. But I got no hard evidence. So for my own piece of mind I have to do it. After that will be clutch and then wheels and tires. The current set up is more for aesthetic, I want something more functional.

Sounds like you have a good game plan, especially with the preventative maintenance.
Have fun with the build. Keep us updated on photos.

Cheers.
