New source for inexpensive NSX parts (I got 2002 headlights for $900)

Thats exactly the first thing that crossed my mind Chris.

We have alot of guys importing Skylines from the UK and Japan here in Sweden and the headlights has to be modified to make the cars street legal.

Anyway you should all be aware its not just plug and play(drive) with japanese headlights.
It will make your car a traffic hazard unless you can convert them to LHD standards.
Im not sure how easy it it so modify modern HID's?

Well, I'm going to give it a shot! http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2416&goto=nextnewest

This guy did it. I'm going to first see if I can just swap out the projectors (left to right, right to left). As a plus, my lights are already dissasembled. If that doesn't work, what this guy did will (though it is alot of work).

I've been hooked on this site. I was going to buy these Prodrive wheels because they were stuck at $500 for the longest time. they're now at a $1000 which is still a super deal. I've bid on quite a few other items too.

For all you guys that can't read japanese but would like to browse, just click this link and that will get you in the right direction. We should actually open a thread for great buys on Yahoo Japan, and Ebay. I'm constantly looking for products and i'm sure others are too.

Yahoo Japan sorted by lowest price first.

then if you find what you like just shoot on over to http://www.okshon.comand open an account. it's very easy, fast and paypal friendly.

I then use this yahoo currency converter.

and Japanens to English converter.

I was outbid three times on tail light sets by other okshon users, what is annoying about being outbid by another okshon user is the auction amount doesn't change, so I could bid $10k on a set of tail lights, to ensure I am the highest 'okshon' bid, and still win them for the price someone else was willing to pay ;(

bleh - I have moved on a bit, although I did purchase a r/c nsx using this service - 1 month later, and $100 in fees/international shipping for a $60 purchase, and they claim they are in the final stages of sending it out... Certainly it's a great source for 'hard to find' items, and yahoo japan is always fun to browse with their huge array of nsx items, but (from a practical standpoint) transactions take a while, and the fees for this service are huge.

A few of us should partner up, fly to Japan with $100,000 or so and ship back a container of NSX JDM parts. It would probably be as profitable as shorting KKD back early 2004 and it's like a damn candy store over there!
