I take a look at a 1991 NSX for a friend tonight. When he test drove it, he heard a gurgling noise, almost sounds like liquid pumped. It sounds pretty loud. But when he turned the steering wheel little bit to the left and then right, the noise went away. The owner said that he heard it three out of ten times when the car first started.
Has anybody ever heard of this?
Is it possible that it came from the ABS, or is it from the actual steering rack?
