I shot these with a Leica R 400mm with a 1.4x extender on a Canon 20D digital camera so roughly a 900mm lens. Shots were taken over 1/2 mile away, from Telegraph Hill. It's low res for NSX Prime.

Hmmm, there's Ron's Imola Orange Pearl....

Imola,

That last pic with the "painting" effect is sweet. How can I get the high res shots?

That was one of the most fun times I've had in a long time. I glad I made the trip down from Portland to check this out.

Rick...I hope everything is okay.

Here are the pictures I snapped today;

Anyone get a shot of the audience? Toward the end of the pro photo shots, it looked like there was maybe 50-70 spectators there taking photos of this event. They had that part of the street blocked. Very impressive.

Amazing how many of them didn't know what a Acura NSX was. These spectators now know.

ok my day was cut short but luckily I had some good shots anyways ~ Enjoy!

Rick,

:eek::eek::eek:

Your car truly is one of a kind. I'm disappointed I missed it but hopefully next time.

That is Jack and Yolanda's NSX. With their kind help, I got something similar on mine as well. In fact, at first glance I thought this was the photo of mine, as I saw someone taking pictures of it at Fort Mason.

Still waiting to see the "Professional" pics. Anyone know when we will see those??

Both photographers said they'd have master CDs to me in "a week or two". I probably will post one or maybe two of them to the thread once I get 'em. At that point, I'll be a CD burnin' machine and I'll mail a copy of each CD out to each participant. I'll leave it up to all of you to share your favorites on Prime.

Roger

Hi Folks,

My name is Warren, and I came along for the ride with my friend Rich Wong that morning. It was nice to meet you. What a great bunch of car enthusiasts you are!

I'm a long time photographer and car nut (not necessarily in that order :) ). I posted 104 pictures of the event, as seen from my perspective, onto my photo hosting site. There were too many pictures to post here individually. I've always admired the NSX, and it's on my short list of cars to own before I'm done and checked out...so someday when the timing is right, I will own one...

Anyway, I invite all of you to follow the link to see my pictures. You can put your comments there too, and it would be great if you could identify yourself and/or your cars in the comment section for my and others' reference. I don't know you or the cars well enough to identify owner, model year, and special mods. If you want to use one of my pictures for your own enjoyment, please let me know.

By the way, Chip, I was the guy who was taking the picture of your engine bay. :)

Go here to see the pictures: http://fototime.com/inv/C1DFE841C58FD9B

I hope you enjoy them.
