OK, NSXers, we are pleased to announce NSXCapades, Spring Edition.

We’re going to dial it back a little and make it officially Saturday and Sunday, only. Here is the itinerary.

Saturday, May 9
- 9:00am – 12:00pm Visit the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum
o Guided tour $10 per person
o 6600 Tico Rd, Titusville, FL 32780
o https://www.valiantaircommand.com/

- 12:00pm – 2:00pm Lunch at Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar
o 500 Glen Cheek Dr, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920
o Participants order off the standard menu
o https://www.grillsseafood.com/port-canaveral/

- 2:00pm – 6:00pm free time. Feel free to wander, check in to hotel, nap, whatever

- 6:00pm – 8:00pm Dinner at Brazilian Rodizio restaurant Fogo de Chao. Carnivores unite!
o 8282 International Dr.
Orlando, FL 32819
o https://fogodechao.com/location/orlando/

- 8:00pm – 10:00pm Lil 500 Drifting Karts
o 150 Atlantic Dr, Maitland, FL 32751
o https://www.lil500.com/

Hotel:
- Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando
o https://www.rosenshinglecreek.com/
o 9939 Universal Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32819
o $189 per night, plus taxes, possibly less if we get more than 9, we might get a less expensive group rate.

Sunday, May 10
- 9am – 12pm Customary Country Drive
- 12pm – 2pm Lunch (TBA)

Unlike traditional NSXCapades, we will not be collecting up front nor paying as a group. All these selections will be a la carte; you order, you pay directly to the service providers.

We do, however, need a head count. Depending on interest, we may be able to reserve a block of rooms at the suggested hotel, but for all other items, we won’t reserve as a group or do anything like a pre fixe menu.

Reach out to Doug Quara, Christine Mar, or Dave Fogel with questions and your interest in attending. Please RSVP *no later than Tax Day April 15* (easy to remember!) and advise which of these a la carte items you will participate in. Please let us know if you want to reserve a room Friday night, and / or Saturday night.
We look forward to seeing you this spring!

Christine/Dave/Doug.......sounds like a terrific event.I will post information on the NSXCA website...will probably condense. Assuming you plan to make this an annual event? Great work.

Thanks, John.

Wei Shen and Ole have had great success with the Winter version of NSXCapades, annual in December timeframe, and the group has discussed doing a Spring version, so here it is. We'll see how this one goes as far as number of participants.

UPDATE 3/18/20: Regretfully, out of an abundance of caution re: you-know-what, (and considering only one response to-date), we have decided to CANCEL this event.
