This year we had an early summer cruise, so the club exec figured that we should have an official event in August.

We will be meeting at the Tim Horton's at Trafalgar and the 401 at 9:00a.m. where we will have a quick coffee and leave at 10:00a.m. sharp for our tour of Legendary Motorcar. For everyone's information, the Tim Hortons is at:

7502 Trafalgar Rd,
Hornby, ON
L0P 1E0

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of touring Legendary Motorcar, their selection is generally, for lack of a better term; legendary. I would recommend that you take a look at their website to figure out what all the fuss is about.

Or, perhaps if you're feeling a bit flush right now, have a look at what they are currently offering for sale:

As our luck has it, we will be sharing our time during our tour with another local club for mid-engine car enthusiasts. Some times we draw the long straw!

Once our tour wraps up, we will be driving approximately 35 minutes to Crawford Casting. This is the home base for one of our members who very graciously offered a tour of his jewelery casting facility. For those members who have been around for several years or more, Dave is the gentleman who cast those excellent NSX keyrings that the club gave as our renewal gift in 2013. It should be an excellent day!

Thanks guys for setting up today's event. Crawford Casting was really interesting. Being able to see all the different process from drawing to casting when making a ring.. If anyone is looking for a ring to be made, make sure you see Dave. That man has a lot of passion for what he does. Thanks Dave.
