After having a long and emotional weekend where my pooch was rushed to the hospital for emergency heart surgery and implantation of a pacemaker, I figured I might as well post some "before and after" photos now that she is back home and sleeping in my lap at the moment.

But they're very gentle, very loyal, and extremely loving dogs. There isn't a day that goes by that Otis doesn't make me laugh out loud at least once. He's a great dog.

Yeah, he gets shaved about every 4 months, most recently a couple weeks ago. I think he looks retarded without his hair but apperance aside, everyone (including the cat) is happier this way. I'll dig up a picture of him in 'full fur' later and post it. He's quite the hairy critter.
