A few San Diego NSX owners, along with some fellow TL/CL drivers from Acurazine.com, took a drive out to portions of San Diego County. We had absolutely beautiful weather, with not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, being a three day weekend, portions of our drive required us to sit behind long caravans of campers heading out to the desert. As a result, we needed to "take in the scenery" more than we wanted to.
In any case, we were able to enjoy passage through Julian, Borrego Springs, and Santa Ysabel. And as usual, Highland Valley Road and Mesa Grande Road offered much to enjoy.
And like we always do, we were able to finish of the drive with a tasty burger at Nessy Burger in Fallbrook.
Thanks to all who came out. I'm looking forward to another drive in the next month or so.

Passing through Highland Valley Road. Note some of the charred terrain from October's S.D. fires.
Heading down into Ramona...
The highway into Borrego Springs. We're packed together because we're following a caravan of holiday RVs....
...and a slow moving Prius and Liberty. x 2
Taking a break to get away from the campers.

Our stop in Borrego Springs....
And our stop near Lake Henshaw...
