I've been doing some slight modding during the winter months when my NSX was stuck in the garage. Here are some pics.

Last night I installed the S2000 antenna. Parts cost approximately $90 and took me about 2 hours. Pretty easy DIY. PM me if you want some info on installation or parts.

I also got my steering wheel redone. I originally had a Momo steering wheel, but decided I really should have an air bag. But since the stock steering wheel is so ugly, I sent it into www.american-stitches.com to have it redone. I thought about getting it done in two tone or with carbon fiber inserts, but decided to keep it simple and get perforated inserts on the sides with 1/16 inch padding all around to make the wheel thicker. I also got white stitching to match the white motif in my car. They charged me about $350. I'm pretty happy with the result, although I think I should have opted for the 1/8 inch padding.

Looks good. Do you have more pix of your NSX with the HRE's on there? My friend wants to see what they look like on a white car.

Thanks.

I also got my seats redone. I ordered seat covers from www.leatherseats.com. I gor perforated centers, white inserts on the side bolsters, white double stitching and "NSX" embroidered on the headrests in black. They charged approximately $700 for the seat covers with those options. They also charged me $50 for what they called perforated door inserts. The inserts ended up being an uncut roll of perforated leather. I looked into having them cut and installed, but it ended up being too expensive. So I returned them. The fit on the seat covers is 8 out of 10. Not bad. I had to have them professionally installed.

I got an Ipod mini for my birthday. So I bought some goodies for a clean install in my car.

Great stuff. BTW, where did you have your gauges done? Custom, or store bought dials?

I got the guages from ebay. They were $50. I had them installed at a shop in VA. THey are indiglo guages, but you can set them up so that they are lit up with OEM lighting only for that OEM look.

Charley,

I've seen a few pictures of your car before and always thought it looked great! Slightly reminds me of my car with the WingsWest kit. But after seeing all of these pictures, I have to say that the car looks great! I love the mods! Very tasteful! I love it...

Regards,

yes. very clean ride. Been thinkin of gettin the same leather seats from leatherseats.com. 8 out of 10 you said?? Why do you say 8 out of 10, is there some parts of the leather that wrinkle too much?? I thought they would be damn near perfect. Hmmm?? either way they look very nice in your car. and the dorr inserts aren't pre-cut! darn.

Gorgeous!! I love the white! Theres just something about white NSXs that hits the right spot for me! All my other cars I had in the past has been white and I was hoping to follow the same tradition with the NSX but its ashame they don't do them in white over here :(

Anything left to do?

hmmm... Charley, excellent job on the aesthetic mods. All look very professional & clean.

What do you think about "clear-corners" sidemarkers? Justcurious...

hey bro'... I'd seriously send you over a Grand Prix White in exchange for your Magnum Grey Pearl. When I saw it at the Boxhill meet a month or so ago, it was awesome (I'm biased as mine is Berlina Black, lol). I love the stealthy look that colour gives your NSX.

I said the leather seat covers are 8 out of 10 because there are parts that bunch up. But overall, it's still a pretty good fit. It certainly does not fit like the OEM 2002+ seats. But the door inserts are not worth the $50 they charge.

i have the same covers...its all about who installs them, my first one was an 8 out of the 10, the second a 9.5, so i redid the first one. I did do it myself. it takes a minute to get all the seems to lay correctly which takes away any bunching.

sweet car, love the gauges.

as far as the door inserts, it was EASY, they give you WAY more than enough, enough to screw it up a couple times if you need to :)

easy to cut with shears or a razor blade and wrap it over the old with GOOD spray glue. took about an hour after door panel removal was done.
