My friend, Edmun Laurea, who is the President and CEO of OPAK Racing (they are the US exclusive importer of SPOON Sports), just got back from Japan for an event in which they allowed certain dignitaries to test drive the revamped Fuji Speedway. Honda provided a couple of NSX Type-R's, and a few members from the NSX Owners Club of Yokohama brought their cars. The drivers from Best Motoring were also there to test out the track.

They went to Twin Ring Motegi as well to test out the track and the cars. Towards the end of these photos, I have a nice surprise for you all from Motegi (something you normally associate with little Hot Wheels).

I have the high-resolution photos, but have scaled them down to 800x600 to keep from taking too much of Lud's server. Lud, if you want these photos, please let me know so I can send you the hi-res ones.

If you want more information about the events at both racetracks, please feel free to contact Edmun directly. He can be reached at www.opakracing.com. You can also email him at "edmun at opakracing dot com".

Thanks again Edmun for the photos.

Enjoy!

Side views. As you can see, the third Type-R has the top painted.

Yellow. You may notice quite a few of the yellow pictured. Edmun knew that I am repainting my car Rio Yellow, and so he took more photos of it for me.

Is there such a thing as a yellow Type-R? It sure looks like one.

Here are all the NSX photos without adding every single picture (some of which are similar to these). There were additional pictures of other cars, such as this Skyline, as well as a tricked-out Ferrari F50.

Good Eye Spinner. I didn't even notice that they were two shades of white.
