Prime uploading pics sideways

Anyone know why, or how to correct? I've seen it with other member pics as well.

The photo was taken sideways, so the result is it was uploaded sideways. If you want to fix it, you can rotate the photo on your phone or pc/mac using the built in image software.

Thanks but the photo was not taken sideways. It was taken vertically from my phone.

By default digital photos files are horizontal, so when you take a picture vertically the result is the image is sideways. Some phones are smart enough to rotate these photos automatically so when they are exported the orientation is correct. In other systems like facebook or a photo app the software tries to detect the orientation of the image and fixes it for you.
