We have to produce 1 set from each part first for a detailed calulation.
We keep you informed about the prices in the vendor section.

1 item is concepted, tested and calculated already and ready for shipment end of next week:
The TEIN RE Procar conversion kit is 830 Euro incl. DHL door to door shipment

For more informations about that kit, please email or pm.

Email already sent. Please reserve 1 set of the TIEN for me, plus 1 NSX-R airduct for LHD. Thanks.
OK, thanks Anil .... please check pm.

Today, we pushed the start buttom for another nice cf project,
the PROCAR CF REAR TRUNK.
We should be able to deliver the first unit in february 2006

Yesterday we started to adapt the original NA2 NSX-R gauge cluster conversion for the NA1 NSX.
The actual status:
All parts which are installed are working fine.
watertemperature and oilpressure meter
gasoline and volt meter
rpm meter

We still miss the NSX-R speedometer...we let test that part at our electronic specialist for 100% precision indicating.
The shift lights should work soon too.
More details next week.

I was just wondering i you knew the difference between the NSX-R and standard NSX engine? Is it more than it being blueprinted?

Your parts are looking awesome, i'd like to see some of them on my dad's NSX next year :D

Keep up the good work...

Thanks.
If your dad's car is ready....contact us. The Procar cf parts list is getting longer and longer

The official Honda comment is that the main difference between both is that the R engine is blueprinted, thats right.
And they are using a special ECU.
Not sure about the secrets of the R&D test engines.
We dont open them.
The NSX-R's here in germany have 320-330 hp with such engines, so it sounds there is more behind than blueprinted.

If you have interests for buying one.....we have one in stock.

Detlef!

This is Ananda... we traded Civic pictures and videos of the NSX-R on Nurburgring a year or so ago.

I have a friend who works for Toray Carbon Fiber as a material researcher, and would likely want to talk to you about your experiences and projects in motorsports.

Would you be still willing to speak with him?

And your NSX keeps getting better and better!!!!

Thanks!

Wow, cool! :) I've never seen a dyno with flames coming out of the exhaust! :) What is the redline of the Mugen ECU? >300 rwhp?

yeah, that was quite spectacular.
The redline of the MUGEN ECU is 8.800 rpm.
>300 HP = 312.6 HP
Torque = 315.5 Nm

We did a mistake at the dyno run, because the shift point indicator wasnt adjusted right.
The red light came ~1.000 rpms too early and we stopped the run.
The next dyno run in spring should show >320 HP.

Hi Detlaf,

Standard NA1 3.0l engine year '92 and 13.000 miles (240rwhp)
Fujitsubo GT headers (255rwhp)
ARC titanium test pipes (?)
Taitec GT lightweight exhaust (265rwhp)
Procar cf cone air intake tube (?)
Procar cf airbox with APEXI airfilter (270rwhp)
Procar cf fender scoop (?)
MUGEN ECU (312rwhp, that's an increase of 42rwhp?)

I have a couple questions:

1. Are your measurements in rwhp without a conversion factor? There are supercharged NSX's that are barely making that amount of power.
2. Is the Mugen ECU tuned just for your car? Normally test pipes do not add rwhp to an NSX but will might if the car is retuned.
3. Status on the cf center console? Are you going to offer them with 1 DIN slot for aftermarket stereos and also delete the ashtray and coin tray?
4. Where are you going to be during the Monaco F1 race this year? I will be traveling through Frankfurt at that time with a colleage who just purchased an F430. If possible it would be nice to meet you while I am in Germany.

1. 312 HP was measured at the crankshaft, not at the wheels.
2. Yes, the ECU is tuned for the PROCAR NSX and the test pipes brings additional power, the same for the Procar air intake system.
This ECU is an develpment from Honda R&D for the 93 GT NSX.
3. No cf center console for aftermarket stereos.
4. We can make an appointement here in germany. It could be that we have a race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife that Monaco GP weekend. ....maybe we can meet there.

Also, what gear was that dyno pull performed in? That seemed quite long.
It was the 5th gear....and it was long, but not long enough because of the misplaced shift point indicator.

We will repeat this test in spring with a modified NSX-R engine, but with the same peripherie.

Stop doing this to me !!

More details on the sunvisors please, mine are ripped.

The sunvisors will have the same sytle and function as the OEM part, only
the part which is ripped at your car will be replaced through a cf piece.
It looks easy, but it isnt because it must hold in each position.
We found a way to fix that.

Spy photo from the NSX-R front underbody plate.
We changed the mounting points,
now it fix also with a standard NA1 and NA2 NSX.

The production of the prototype plate in exposed carbonfiber at the top and buttom side, additional side fins and special holders started yesterday.

We plan to produce a limited edition of 10 units.

We dont work in february 2006 (and maybe some days in march) because of illness reason.

The front underbody plate in carbonfiber is produced, the prototype is waiting for installation.....pictures soon.

Latest in april we should be able to show the final version of the NA1R cf hood, the headlight cf covers and the underbody plate.
