Replacement battery - size?

I'm going out to buy a replacement battery for my NSX soon.

Would an Optima Red with dimensions 10 x 6.8 x 7.8 (LxWxH) fit properly?

You will have to rig the battery tie down b/c the stock battery is square and wide, the optima is round edged and much smaller. I have a Stinger and it is much smaller than both of those and we made it work. not too hard.

The Exide 51R-84 (from Kragens) is the exact same form factor as the prior OEM Zanardi battery and has a similar weight. So if you want to go lighter, that should work for cheaper than an Odyssey.

I'm pretty sure the Exide will fit with your standard mounting hardware.
