I really thought they would keep development of the S2k or at least its replacement. Isn't it constantly the "best car to own" on the top gear reviews, it is always a solid contender, it gets good MPG, reliability...

I just thought it was a solid seller for the company... But i guess I don't do their books so what do i know?

A few stories being posted; that many Japanese (youth generally) are falling out of favour with owning cars. I wonder how long this alleged generational shift will last and affect the industry restructuring. Interesting. (I say alleged as it seems to be speculative, as most hypotheses are. I'm always wary of surveys.)

Everyone who asks me (a lot!) why i came to Japan, have no idea what a NSX is, let alone a type-r, when i tell them i came here to buy "an NSX".

Weirdly, my new boss is a racing car fanatic(ex-champion) who loves honda and the type-r's. At my job interview, that's all we talked about! I think that's why i got the job:biggrin: He even offered, after i get my car, to let me work on it at his fully decked out work shop (rare in japan, private workshops!). What a guy!
