The ScienceofSpeed 3.5L engine is the ultimate powerplant for your NSX.

For a limited time, we are offering a special discount on our 3.5L rotating assemblies (crankshaft, rods, and pistons) as well as our assembled 3.5L short blocks, available on core exchange.

Until 2/29, take $500.00 off the rotating assembly kit:

Until 2/29, take $1000.00 off an assembled short block:

The 3.5L engines are built around custom machined billet 4340 alloy steel crankshafts and connecting rods and 2618 alloy forged pistons. The systems are available with lighter rods designed for naturally aspirated use (we have built 3.5L naturally aspirated engines producing over 450 bhp) and stronger connecting rods for supercharged and turbocharged applications (we have built turbocharged 3.5L engines producing nearly 1000 bhp).

Our unique core exchange program takes out the worry of proper machining and assembly of your new 3.5L engine. We will send you a pre-assembled short block that has had the cylinder sleeve, align bore, and surface deck machining completed. The short block includes a blueprinted assembly including specification sheet showing all of the pertinenant weights, measurements, and clearances of your particular engine. All that is required by you it to machine your cylinder heads, install to the new engine, and send your core cylinder block back to ScienceofSpeed.

We offer a full line up of engine components for your NSX:

Should you have any questions, feel free to give us a call.

regards,
-- Chris

Question:

Has anyone done a high compression (12.5:1) build on the 3.5L and what kind of power did it make?

If no to the first part, how much power/torque would a build like that make? and would it cost any different?

thanks!
