Can the OEM security alarm system be used with an aftermarket headunit? After installing a Alpline 900BT the arlarm goes off when opening the doors with the remote. How do you wire the alarm system so it thinks the original OEM unit is still installed?

The oem head does have two wires the go to it that are called security loop but from what I have heard you can just leave them disconnected.
If you keep them disconnected and the system doesn't find the head unit won't the arlarm go off. The OEM manual says that the alarm will go off if the headunit is removed or ir the wires are cut.
Lots of people install an aftermarket head unit and don't have any alarm issues. You can find those 2 wires at the head unit connector and connect them together.
Looking in my ETM the wires are Brown/black and Black/Lt green
