A few of us was thinking about taking 3 hour class with Skip Barber Racing. Basic instructions on racing and car control.

You could also sign up for one of the HPDE events.
Laguna is not available during the summer though.

With some of the HPDE events you will have a single instructor all day.

Do you mean 3-DAY? I did that course a long time ago at Sebring. It was a nice shortcut way to get my full SCCA license at the time. Good instructors at those events. I would encourage folks to try the classes that use MX-5s. They will give you a taste (albeit with a much slower suspension / tire package) of the MX-5 CUP race cars we run.
