I love turbos too, but I always get a chill from the whir of my Eaton M90. :)

Sounds great Bruce, makes me want to go for a drive whith the radio off...

Where was that? Mt. Evans?

Closer to home... Coal Creek Canyon (highway 72), just past Rocky Flats. The drive was from Pinecliffe to Wondervu.... way fun! ... and there's a little cafe/restaurant in Wondervu to serve as a destination.

cheers,

Lol,That drive should strike horror and fear in the Californians:tongue:

Bruce sounds great. Is that the 2.3L whipple?

Ken:
Yes, that's your old 2.3L Whipple, and I am enjoying it very much!

cheers,

Why?

Cuz we don't have snow?

OK, I'm ready for some fun. Does docjohn's comment refer to no snow in california, or to no great twisty drives in california, or to no mountains with or without snow in California?

Post your videos of comparable drives in California. If necessary.... I will figure out/ask how to make this topic another thread....

go for it!

Ahaaaa ,well since someone not seen by me asked a question through someone I do see:wink: My point is simple, and based completely on my own observations....the majority of Californians (not track rat nsx owners) cannot drive or handle inclement weather driving iether heavy rain nor snow/cold roads. They drive on everthing assuming grip levels are similar to thier everday 85 deg hot roadway:rolleyes:

How many states from the east coast does it take to make up the land mass of California?

That and the fact that California stretches for hundreds of miles north to south as well as elevation varieties from below sea level to to snow pack and you have diversity that the east coast will never see.

Your (and many outsiders') assessment of 85F everyday temps are more of a description of So Cal. Where I reside is more milder at the 70's mark with no humidity.

I took the NSX to 80 - 100MPH in the rain when it had brand new RE050 2 years ago.

Keep banking on the notion that I might crash and stop posting on here........

If you throw it in with such subtlety that its missed by the intended audience you either ae not very good at it or we are just too sensitive. In either case it defeats the purpose of making the comment in the first place.

There are alot more people that understand what I'm saying/meaning (even though some may not agree with me).

Alot have PM'd me expressing that they know it's a joke, or agree with my views/opinions on such and such thread.

Many NSX owners are family man and being a family man tend to keep a low profile publicly.

In other words I'm their voice.

There are alot that have told me in person that they like my posts, find it amusing how people are soooo sensitive, etc.

I'm so glad to hear you speak for the people. You should run for elected office <---SARCASM!

No, that means I have to be PC, which I don't support.

I should be a morning radio personality.

My threads and posts tends to attract an audience - ratings.

Just remember that this is first and foremost a forum based upon the NSX...I think people tend to lose sight of this.

Back to the original reason why this thread was posted...great video Bruce! Its nice that you take the NSX out in all conditions!
