Yup, it's a worthy prequel to Blood And Sand. Too bad it's only 6 episodes.

The part of Spartacus has been recast and production restarted so we should have season 2 of B&S eventually.

Sadly 6 episodes nowadays is considered an entire season. Seems like seasons on really good shows are getting shorter. Can't wait for this one.

I loved the first season and this one is looking to be just as good. I enjoyed the jiu jitsu in the blindfold fight too! He really should have hooked the leg in that triangle attempt :tongue:

I must say that the 1st season is very enjoyable, engaging and well presented. But a little too graphic for my tastes. It's not a show that I would watch with my kids, for example (even if they were grown), and I'd have to turn it off if they came in the room while it was on etc... I wouldn't feel comfortable watching it with my wife, either...
