srs light on

Folks, I removed my OEM wheel this weekend and installed a sparco wheel with the SoS hub. My SRS light is now always on. Is this something I need to deal with (which would be fine) or can I somehow turn it off?

By the way, a public thanks to Andrie Hartanto for all the help Saturday. To say that "I removed..." above is a real stretch.... Thanks again Andrie.

You need to shunt out the SRS connector...the Mugen hub I use came with this shunt.

I'm not sure if you can just wire the two tabs of the SRS connector together...

I think the easiest way to do (Which I should have done if I was not in a hurry to get to BW) is to take the bulb out from the back of the cluster. Drop me an email, I'll help u do it.

You do not need to remove the bulb. Instead, you can jump the wires described on this site:

No resistor was required on my car. I jumped the pins described on the page above with a short length of wire with pin connectors from RadioShack.
