Summer '07 "Exotix Run" - August 12th.

Whats up guys/girls,
NSX's were always out in full force during my Exotix Runs, so I'm extending the invitation again... :smile:


Ladies and Gents,
It has been almost 1 year from the first summer run. An event which combined many internet car forums, started many friendships and is turning into a tradition in the tristate area.
I'm glad to announce this year's Summer's "Exotix Run", which will be held on August 12th (Summer '06 "Exotix Run" was on August 13th). I'm also turning it into a tradition to give something back to the world, by involving charity organizations in this event.
This time your donations will be forwarded to Food For The Hungry. We will be participating in their Child Sponsorship Program, which provides food to children in poor countries. The cost of sponsoring one child is $28 a month, so depending on the amount of funds we collect at the event, we will be able to sponsor 10 plus children for at least 1 year. Whats interesting about this program, is that they send you pictures and a letter from the child you're sponsoring, so as soon as I receive those pictures I'll post them on the forums.

The details of the run:

Date - August 12th, 2007 (Rain Date - August 19th)
Time - 8AM SHARP
Meeting Spot - Starbucks in Edgewater
457 River rd.
Edgewater, NJ 07020
Participation fee - $100 PER PERSON (not per car), which will include lunch, "Exotix Run - Rally For Charity" decals and printed directions.

I'm going to need a headcount for lunch. So please specify in the posts, PMs and emails if you will be having a passanger or not.

Inviting friends with exotics to this event is ok.

Frank, thanks for coming. Yes the event was a huge success...

The two videos are rather disturbing and not cool at all. Driving 190MPH on a highway full of unsuspecting motorists. There are real people in those other cars, and should not be treated like they are cones on a track to swerve around. Gives rich people and exotic car owners a bad name. Jerks. Take your car to a track if you are capable of going fast in something other than a straight line.
