Timing belt job question regarding parts.

I am about to do the tb/wp on my 1996 NSX using a local mechanic who specializes in unique cars (never did an NSX, but had a ton of high end expensive exotics in his shop, and has a great reputation).
I read the 25 page pdf I found in the NSXWiki section that was written by Gary Kentosh, who says Larry B helped him in writing the DIY manual for this job. They list A LOT of parts that total about $1000 (IF you go through Mike Ngo at Neillo Acura for wonderful pricing!!).

Here is my question: From this list below, what parts do I HAVE to order right off the bat... and what parts can I WAIT to order until we get deep into this job and find out we need them? (If I can spend $500-$600 on parts instead of $1000+, that would be nice)

14400-PR7-A01 BELT, TIMING $154.27

Spot on list. I did my 90k a few weeks ago with all of these parts exactly. In my kind of not DIY thread, but in DIY i bought some roll pins in place of pin punches that worked wonders from Lowes. I also bought 3 torque wrenches, the crankshaft pulley tool a 22" 1/2 " extension for tools you will need. The pulley tool on amazon is gobs cheaper than the Acura part and worked perfectly. Id recommend shopping around.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post those links.

Larry, have you reviewed the 25 page do-it-yourself pdf that Gary Kentosh provided in our Wiki section? Do you have any extra notes that you think are important to add to it (that he may not have explained thoroughly/correctly)?

I only ask because I am using a local "specialty" mechanic who has never done this job on an NSX before, so I am going to make sure he reviews Gary Kentosh's manual for advise.

Considering Gary started with my write up, and he actually finished it, should be ok:). That was many years ago.......

Does anyone know how to access this list? I'm having a hard time finding the wiki within the "new" NSXPrime architecture...many thanks!

So OT but how many sets of Fat 5's do you have? :p

In roman numerals, we're in double-X territory.

So in the process of assembling a list of parts for upcoming "timing belt/water pump, 60k or 90k or 120k service, and good preventative maintenance work" service I'm working on scheduling, just yesterday I came across an email chain with Don L, Larry & Ken Sax from a year after I bought mine (around 2014) where I was considering selling some of the boat anchor fat fives that came with the car (3 full sets total) and was asking for opinions on value. One of the 3 wise men (and I mean that with reverence not humor) suggested I'd be lucky to get $200 for the cleanest set, and Larry B said (and I paraphrase) hold onto them, they're better than gold. So I've held onto them, plus another clean set for $50 from eBay around 2014, and another set or two (I think just one actually) I've stumbled upon but couldn't say no to. So yeah, I think I have XX+ number of those. Maybe I'll get the worst ones refinished, wax them and mount them on the wall.
