To be safe ask what the "Born On Date" is.. Tires can get old even if they have never been used.. They start to crack etc. "Dry Rot" etc.

The R888 has only been on the market here for 4-5 years, and the 225/50-15 was not part of the initial introduction. So they can't be all that old...
