Where to buy rotors for Brembo Gran Turismo BBK??

I know several of you guys are running the Brembo Gran Turismo big brake kit.

I'm tired of spending a small fortune on the overpriced Brembo replacement rotors. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket replacement rotor that fits perfectly with the setup? I don't need the hats, just the rotors.

The rotor info is:

328mm X 28mm
Driver side rotor part number: 09568294
Passenger side rotor part number: 09568295

The part number that I've seen on the rotor box is: 2a1.6001a

Just curious if anyone has found a better solution than buying the Brembo replacements?

Me too and they work just as good as the high $$$ Brembo's do.

You will have to have the lip either filed, milled or cut off the hat...No big deal...

(If your Brembo hat has a lip on the inboard side (see picture), then you will need to machine off this lip before installing these rotor rings, as expansion of the rotor ring under heat cycles will cause the ring to interfere with the lip and may lead to the rotor cracking)

I run the RacingBrake.com replacement rings for the Brembo. 330x28 and they fit fine.

the original rb rings did not require grinding off the inner lip. I think the new ones may as the brembo and stoptech are identical except the brembo tabs are shorter. they didn't want to stock two different rings. I have a new set of RB rings at home, but haven't installed them yet. I will check when I get home tomorrow.

I made the change over to the RB's about 2 months ago. I put them on the hats and they touched the tabs. So I had the inter lips milled off just to be sure.
Figured it was better to be safe than sorry considering the cost of replacement hats.
