will NA1 exhaust have fitment issues with 02+ rear valance??

hi prime,

my friend has a 94 NA1 and he just bought a 02+ rear valance. However, we're wondering if the original NA1 exhaust system is going to have any fitments issues regarding the holes where the exhaust tips comes out? I've heard that 02+ rear valance does not have big enough of an opening for exhaust systems with dual-tip outlet.

any thoughts and recommendations would be great.

i have 96 NSX stock exhaust with 02 rear valence. Plenty of room for the tips

The exhaust tips changed for 1995+ models. '91-'94 models have a wider, ellipse-type exhaust tip.

does he mean aftermarket, like RS*R or something? will it work with that?
