In preparation for them receiving the car, my dealer reached out to outline how they want to manage the vehicle (and by whom) prior to me taking delivery.
The mater tech with 30 years of experience will PDI the car.
Get this, the GSM and my sales person will wash it, noting no wax, etc. for the first 60 days.
I really like how they go about things.
They also want to get a professional photographer to shoot the car as it comes off the truck for use in social media and for a local magazine.

Sure seems like they are getting into a faster delivery cadence. Any stats in this regard, Bricks? In terms of delivery per week or whatever?

The last couple of weeks were 10 per week I believe
kind of doesn't add up as they should moving closer to 20+
i called led early yesterday to see if they knew when my car would leave the PMC and that was not known.
I gave them a heads up about RHal's car being flipped and your melted stuff durin track day (I recommended that they provide a track day reminder card)

Today's Update: (not much)
If you need roadside assistance towing, the flatbeds can pick up the car without scraping the nose. This was worked out before the Pilot shipping was.
Not able to get my serial #, the spreadsheet they had was a week old
They are not certain why fewer cars appear to be shipped than produced
It looks like Pilot waits until they have a load of 6 cars to send to a region
The Canadian member here was told when his car will come off the line and in the US we have not idea. It appears that Acura Canada is essentially a different business and whatever they can get out of PMC in terms of info is a result of what looks like a better relationship.

Sounds like pretty standard delivery system. Why are we paying $1800 for it? Oh well.
