I feel weird defending anything related to NSX_NICK, but I highly doubt the gambling site is rigged. From my investigation, he is an affiliate for a very large gambling site. When you go to his site, you are really playing at a well established operation.

As for the law, recent legislation only concerns payment methods and as I understand it, there are loopholes in that.

Well done. Though I doubt the reports of abuse to his family are accurate, obviously that is taking things too far. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he wanted this sort of attention, given his response to the pwnage. A smart person would have walked away early on... the only reasons I can see that he stayed is a distinct lack of smarts, or a masochistic desire for negative attention.

Now, I have no photoshop skillz, but if anyone would like to take this idea and run with it you can feel free to. I can't believe it hasn't yet been brought up.

giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming the gambling sites are not rigged he's still involved in the promotion of it. even if he's only getting .001% comission he's still involved. why do you think he scrambled to take his name out behind the domain names. why do you think he's flipping out over this thread. the last thing he needs is for law enforcement to look into this. god forbid irs opens up his books.

Wow just read almost all of this and I will probably one of the few to say I'm kind of ashamed of being apart of this forum.....very disturbing the amount of effort people put to make someone look bad some of it was indeed funny but a bit cruel. No I'm not related to anyone in this stupid problem and a member could clarify I am real and someone totally unrelated to this NSX_NICK guy (I've met other people on Prime in person and can prove I'm just a different dude with a different opinion). What he did is wrong yeah, he seems to be an idiot trying to not just apologize and stuff, but I say some of you guys have crossed the line... just a bit too far me...

Also I feel like people are using this to bring hits to their own pages... why do we need links to every single forum that talks about it. Yeah its epic share the wealth but stop posting your own forum on it... I and many others can't use the NSXPRIME forums as it was meant to be used cause off all the crap and guest that this topic has brought. As someone else said, the relevant law was pasted in the first page of the fread. While the law seems limited to funds transfers, that doesn't mean that someone who merely promotes a web site that is involved with illegal transfers is off the hook. The theories of criminal liability would be of the conspiracy/aiding&abetting type.

Nick is aware of the laws, but he has stated that because poker has a skill element, it is not a game of chance under the definitions of that law. While that position is not entirely baseless, it has not even been tested in court.

Based on my reading of the definition, I see it as a loser. Also, the law specifically exempts certain games that have a skill/chance combination, but it does not mention poker. In interpreting a law, a court will look at inclusions and omissions for guidance. When a law lists specific exemptions, something that isn't on the list is almost certain to be non-exempt.

You are right that it isn't an "incontrovertible fact." However, that is a very dangerous basis for anyone, especially a convicted felon, to act on.

iIf indeed such harrasment did happen then a legitimate lawyer politely asking the admins, in writing, registered mail, with police reports in hand, would make this go away. We are still here, so can we assume nothing of the sort happened?

pdf's dont deserve anyones sympathy. He is getting what he deserves. Just remember the 15 year old who has to live with something like that for the rest of her life. What if that was your child ? Its easy to say things when u dont have a child who is exposed to these people in the real life. (i dont know if u do but i would guess you dont)

also this thread is not giving NSX a bad name, Nick Sitko is making himself look terrible. And remember that any publicity is good publicity. NSX is probably the hottest forum right now and people are getting exposed to the other ends of the forum. Ive poked around to see what it has to offer and it looks appealing. The only way this thread will die is if it gets locked or nick comes out and apologizes for this whole mess and takes the heat for it.

Nick's "family" are innocent.
But it is clear that Nick's past has and will continue to haunt them for some time.

Any physical threats to him and his family is not right and not to be tolerated.

In spite of him coming on this forum w/ the INTENT of spamming the site TO PROMOTE his ILLEGAL gaming site...

the fact remains that he is currently operating an illegal gaming site. THAT IS A CRIME according to current US law. This DOES NOT take into consideration Nick's past history...which we all know now.

I'm ASSUMING that he was given probation time after his past criminal history.
But herein lies my problem w/ his situation...no matter what anyone says...

He is OBVIOUSLY TECH SAVVY. But instead of USING HIS COMPUTER SAVVY self to RUN a LEGITIMATE business (computer repair, website building, etc.), he ACTIVELY CHOSE to run an ILLEGAL GAMBLING site. No matter how someone may try to defend themselves and say they have a family to support and/or bills to pay. In the end, he CHOSE to run an ILLEGAL gambling site.

For this action alone, if he has a probation officer, that probation officer should be notified. And if he doesn't have a probation officer,...law enforcement officials need to have his illegal gambling business shut down.

I'm not looking down upon him for his criminal past. I'm looking down on him because his current talents allow him the chance to forget about his past. But he chose to use his talents to run an illegal gambling operation and scam people of money.

If his family/social circle wants to be upset...BLAME HIM. BLAME HIM for NOT using his computer skills to run a legitimate business. THAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM.

It's not he skills that determine if one is a theif or a locksmith. The mind makes that determination.

I came, I read, I donated $25 to nsxprime for the bandwith. I think it's time to close it up. When I was a teenager, the nsx was my dream car. Now at 31, I had forgotten all about them until I came across this site. I find it sad that I can't even begin to browse the rest of the forum without getting the donkey. If there was any hope of nick coming in here and owning up, then it might be worth keeping open. That's not going to happen so I say a big thank you to nsxprime! now take your board back. On a side note, I don't know if anyone is really driving by their house yelling out threats or not. ask yourself if it's worth possibly scaring a kid in the case nick might get your point.
