Valve cover gaskets and timing belt question

I was wondering too and I couldn't tell by the photos in an earlier post between the Japanese packaging and NA packaging. I ordered the Japanese part anyway. Turns out it's the same part number as the US part on the actual belt, as it's the same belt from Unitta. Suspect the different part...

Special interest insurance or regular, NSX owners please chime in!

$400 a year for me (as per insured appraised amount). That's right folks, per year, not per month. With coverage on towing and $7kish in spare parts (as in sitting in garage) as part of comprehensive.

took my NSX to a car show last night....

Haha, I get almost no attention in my car where I am. Everybody flocks to the Monte Carlo SS and Mustang GT. And because it's not a "super truck" F-150 or "ponycar" most don't care at all. Fine with me cause they're not going to crash into it...

    NSX ALMOST got slammed into!

Haha, and I thought I was in "redneck truck country" where the locals think F-150s are classy and the fastest, meanest, vehicle out on the market. Think Texan meets Alabama but with no social/cultural restraint.

Special interest insurance or regular, NSX owners please chime in!

No, just that I had to have a daily already insured and 10 years of good driving. Emphasis on the 10 year with a Driver's Abstract (available at CAA, AMA/CAA for you Alberta folk who get confused between AMA and CAA).

Special interest insurance or regular, NSX owners please chime in!

Silver Wheels (which is now Hagerty). Had absolutely no issues and had insurance docs within a day all ready before picking up my car. I then followed up with an appraiser; which then ended up changing my insurance by $34 more a year. Cost per year depends on value of vehicle. It is also a...

Which NSX should I keep ? Black or Red ?

Are you simply selling for financial reasons only or because the wife wants the car park back? If it is the wife wanting the car park, I'd just get a one of those tent like temp car shelters and keep both. The NSX is such a good daily driver but only a few do so because of inherent "risks" on...

    NSX ALMOST got slammed into!

+100 It's them and their "hypermiling." I agree in environmental stewardship and that we should not unnecessarily waste previous nature resources. However, I do not agree in "greenpeace fanaticism." Although the fundamentals of hypermiling are sound, there are those who take it to the extreme...

    Mosport DDT

Depending if you're going clockwise (and track layout), watch the crest of the hill after the first few turns. Quite hilly compared to Shannonville. Very fun track when I did the track course with Ian Law. The straightaways aren't too long and there are enough tight corners for "driver...
