Just a quick perspective on what it's like owning a supercharged 1998 NSX from two owners (same car). We're a bit biased since the NSX has always been our dream car..

I sold my 98' a few years ago to a friend of mine. Of course I miss NSX since it was a big part of my life. Lots of sleepless nights and countless hours working on it. I'm fortunate enough to be able to wrench on it and drive it though. I currently drive this C7 now.

Yup, the Comptech exhaust is probably the quietest aftermarket exhaust out there. Adding headers would make it sound meaner and louder but it's still kinda quiet.

Bingo. I was denied coverage since I told them I was planning to drive about 4-5k miles a year. They made it very clear to me they wanted to see less than 2k miles a year, basically driving to and from shows.

When I had my NSX, I had no problem passing smog back in 2012 and 2015. It had a CTSC, CT-E Headers, Exhaust and Intake. Adding just the CT-E Exhaust won't affect the emissions, it is after all a cat-back. If you do fail, it's probably your cats, assuming you car is running well.

I think a kit consisting of 4-pot front/rear calipers, pads, and s/s brake lines would sell quite well. Not sure how the e-brake would be incorporated into it, but it would be nice to just upgrade the sliding pistons to fixed calipers. It'll look alot nicer and improve the pedal feel and...

Their definitely is a difference in sound when you add in the CT-E Headers. At one point my car had stock headers with the CT-E exhaust. I added the CT-E headers and the exhaust is louder but not dramatically so. The main difference is the tone, it's MUCH deeper and has a nice bit of raspiness...

I think hatchbacks are ugly as sin so no.

If their was no NSX, I probably wouldn't be interested in sports cars right now since it was the NSX that got me into cars when I was kid. I probably would be driving a cookie cutter nice car, maybe a M3, IS-F or C63.
