i always thought HONDA should have bought Aston Martin - would have been a good opportunity to start from a clean slate for luxury market. Acura are going backwards - they are abt on par with Hyundai for design ethics.

im reaching for the bucket now.

when i heard Aston Martin was for sale - i was hoping Honda would buy it merge with Acura. Better yet get rid of Acura altogether. the fat pony-tailed guy at Acura design (ASC) is not a good image - guy reminds me of the comic book dealer in the simpsons. yeah dude keen edge.....

i dunno but when i saw the head of design direction - i slapped myself in dismay. the guy is an overweight fanboi with a pony tail who speaks with the 'like yeah dude' manner - reminds me of the comic shop owner in the simpsons. this is the face of Acura fashion - its down hill from here.

Acura can keep their American concept and the rest of their home designed crap. (07' MDX anyone?) its starting to become quite obvious the design direction they are heading is just plain hideous (get rid of the dude with the pony tail) I just want Honda to give us the HSC under the HONDA badge...

no need to panic folks, all Acura has to do is a lil nip and chop here'n there - then you have the perfect Highend car for Acura's showroom. Just dont whack the H badge on it and call it NSX2

i think more than 2. my feeling is there are 2 concepts, one for Acura (a la Aston Martin) and one for Honda - hopfully the NSX replacement.

i think they should leave all the designing to Houses in Europe and Japan. Clearly the Acura folks have a warped sense of fashion.
