ALMS Lime Rock - Photos

Well Bob your photo post has turned into the props/photo thread!Darryl great run with you,we slipped by smoky...twice! Peter and Larry as always our nsxca events are excellent. To mother Honda thanks for that awsome Danish,,and I mean one danish! I hope someone posts a pic of the cars sitting in 2 inches of water, nice reflection shots.Great weather and old friends, plus the sweet smell of brake dust and the deafening roar of the Panoz and vettes and the piercing blat of the porsches made for a wonderful day.I know we gave back to acura with our impressive parade laps, again showing the world how amazingly well built and timeless the nsx is.Lastly to Duncan thanks for taking time to smooze at our tent,I could see it in your glazed eyes that you had other things on your mind!

Why bother buying a NSX CF Difuser, when apparently all you need is to get a big ass garden rake from Home Depot!

Loved Bob's comment on inflation pressures, damn, I always said that it was "all about the food" and now you prove that it's not just about the food but about the "boobs"!!! Just kidding, great pictures everyone!!!!

I had a great time ! I want to thank everyone that organized the event Peter , Larry B , Bob and Roger on the caravan up and anyone else I may have missed.

Great to see the CT and MASS guys , TURBO2GO it was a pleasure meeting you. After seeing all pics and videos, your car is awesome !

I cant wait till next year !

way to be , brothers!!
your day at the races was splendid.
thanx acura & nsxca

[dave/winreboot is my new fav fotog.... ]
nice eye, davey.

Again, thanks to Peter, Larry, and the others who had a hand in organizing a fantastic day at the track. I love these backyard events. Maybe next time instead of the Michelin tire guys, we could have the Kuhmo tire girls grace our tent. Thanks Bailey.
Jesse

Just wanted to thank the organizers of this event, including Peter Mills, Larry B and others - it was truly memorable! And thanks to the Acura folks for the gracious hospitality!
Bob (RSO): those pictures are great. I attached some pictures, no comparison, but including some of the wedding of a relative/friend of Roger Penske, not sure who exactly.

I wish I could have met more of you guys yesterday. I just moved to Boston from San Francisco. I recently sold my NSX, but I've met so many great people through the community. I'm still involved in motorsports and I will probably buy another NSX in the future.

I was an instructor at the Arizona NSXPO, so some of you may recognize me.

I have some acquaintances out here that are into HPDEs and racing, so hopefully I will see some of you again some time.

Just echoing all the other comments - Our thanks to Peter Mills, Larry B, Acura, Duncan, Bob O (for the pictures and the caravan), and all those we forgot to mention for a fantasmagorical day.

Frank & Jan

Way to go Josh!! Congrats on being the beneficiary of the "Photography Skills Skip a Generation Award" and showing up your old man. Keep up the great work.

Just want to add my thanks to Peter, Larry, Acura, Highcroft Racing, and all those involved in coordinating such a terrific event at LRP this past Sturday. It was a perfect day in all respects... and it was especially great to meet many other NSX owners and their guests (sorry I didn't get to meet everyone... just not enough time!). I found that everyone's NSX is a story in itself and many (most) are personalized in many unique ways... what a car we have the privilege to own !!!

The pictures everyone is providing in this thread are simply awesome... thank you so much for sharing them. Many of you should be in the business (as a professional photographer)... they are that stunning!

Hope to see all of you a future NSX events.

Joe, we've seen the magic that you've done on many of our cars, but the magic that you do with your camera surpasses that of Bob, Alan, Josh, Bailey, Tony and even Bags, you made Larry look taller than Peter, what an artist, magician, photographer, surgeon, friend,...................the list of your talents is endless!!!

Roger - thanks for misguided compliment on the magic of making Larry taller than Peter. After all, Larry needs all the help he can get!

Joe, I also love the captions that you've added to my photos!

Joe man funny caption esp since the flugelspharts were right next door!Mel would be proud! BTW I took a good look at The Don's new sebring paint,,amazing work esp in all those tight spaces were the little moldings are, seperates the artisan from the weeners.Great job!

What a great day and a great group of guys. It was really good to meet so many of you. The drive down was fantastic with the fog coming over the mountains and Wick sure knows how to take the right roads.

Like so many others have said, Dianne and I would like to add our thanks to the organizers and members for extending a warm welcome to us "newbies". We were so intent on not missing a thing that we drove up Thursday night (through the MONSOON - thank God the new Kumhos worked well underwater), and showed up Saturday morning at 8:15, taking P2 in the parking order and P3 on the parade lap.

It's also great to get some shots of the car from a distance. I was not sure about the plus-one Fittipaldi package when I got everything done, but I'm happy now that I see the wheels and the car from a distance.

So many, many wonderful cars and combinations - wheels, body kits, paint, etc. Makes me want to own a collection of NSX's!

I do have to confess that, as an employee of Penske Racing, my loyalties were somewhat divided during the race. Maybe I can talk RP into joining the Acura gang in the future. What the heck - we're already running Hondas in the IRL anyway....

Thanks a million, everyone!

Chuck Sprague & Dianne Conrad
