NSX Owners, post YOUR garage or workspace.

The toybox: MOST important room of a house :D

.

I am currently finishing up my new garage. Just finished tiling the floor, and am in the middle of putting up some cabinets (They're Ikea kitchen cabinets). Unfortunately, I sprained my thumb while installing the wall cabinets, so I'll have to rest for a couple of days until the swelling and pain subsides.

What it's like now:

Love this... wonder if its more cost effective than those interlocking tiles.

ceramic tile can be comparable if you lay it yourself....

A good porcelain tile is actually less expensive than comparable racedeck or similar if you buy from the right place, but putting down the floor involves much more work.

Can you tell us about the floor you have? What is it exactly? How does it hold up? Is it slick when wet? Does it stain easy or is it easy to clean? Cost? Etc.

Its a floor covering by Citadel Flooring.... because I didn't go for the chips it is slippery when wet. It resists stains and chemicals very well.. what it doesn't resist very good is kickstands from bikes. I have a few small holes that need to be replace on the bike side, hence why i have mats under them in the most recent pics. They say they have a 20 year warranty but i dont know if that covers the kickstand holes... the company that did it said they couldn't match the color so they'd have to redo the entire floor. I thought that was lame since it cost me 3500ish.

Since the stuff thats in the garage is kept pretty clean, i can get away with sweeping the big things like leaves out and I just vaccum the rest, like a hardwood floor LOL

Dyson vacs are amazing hah those are gladiator cabinets right? How do you like them?

Wow, some really cool garages here. We finished our garage project last Spring. Yes that is carpet (heavy duty carpet mats from autosport catalog) so I am the only one on the block who vacuums their garage. At least I use a Dyson.

I only have a 1 car garage, but I make the most of it. Most importantly, there is ample room for my car.

You know you're an NSX owner when you have a spot on your garage floor like this. :)

That is 8 years & almost 100,00 miles worth.

A friend of mine who is a talented phtographer took these pictues of my NSX in her garage back in September. I meant to add wall art a long time ago, but have been too busy to get around to it.
