Thoughts on NsxWestFest Spring 2009!

Friday - arrive at hotel, hang out, drinks on the patio outside hopefully. We then carried that into supper last year there with walks out to the parking lot to look at cars and back for drinks. Nothing special.
Saturday - last year people went in groups for breakfast, we found a nice spot on main street with an open front to the outside, I'll phone Terry now and find out the name and maybe make a reservation for 10 people or so for 9 am. BOHEMIAN CAFE - THEY DON'T TAKE RESERVATIONS BUT DO HAVE AN NSX ALERT!
We went back to the hotel, washed cars up the street and then a group headed out to the hill climb where we where able to park on the grass, thanks to Aaron and his Contacts..... Aaron, I should get some of those numbers.
Aaron, you can bunk with me as well if you want.
After that, people cruised around or came back to the pool.
Supper was a free for all again, with people going to groups, like to the Keg or whatever.
Some people stayed in bed because they where sun stroked from the intense heat and sun.
Saturday nite, I drove around and took Dan and Angie for a wild ride across the lake in the hills....too much fun.
Sunday - we had a group breakfast at the hotel. This isn't happening this year.
The plan is to head to the big car show in Peachland like last year, park just inside the gates on main street and walk around, have a beer, and just chill.
They close off the main street and their is hundreds of cars there. Aaron posted info on this. Probably everyone will meet up at the hotel and cruise out from there. I will find out what time from Aaron and post in a bit.

GoCarts can be done sun aft as well, some did, I went to the pool and chilled.
Supper is at Terry's as discussed, come between 5 and 6. 6 to be the latest.
Info attached in the modified file from last year for you to print.

If everyone can send me their cell numbers, I can try to do a mass text out of my cell when we go places or want to meet up or have a change of plans.
pm me or email to [email protected]. If emailing, send me a picture as well so I know who the heck you are and can put you in my phone....lol

Thanks
Trev

We will meet Friday evening at the Manteo Resort (3766 Lakeshore Rd. )
250 860 1031 or 250-860-1031) for drinks. I would plan on going to wash
your vehicle after checking in. This will be the end of a long day of driving

where most of us are staying seems the obvious thing to do. Those with a
little more energy may wish to hit downtown Kelowna to explore..

Change that Sunday leaving to World of Wheels to 9.30, the organizers wants us there by 10 this year.
Aaron will meet us there, he will be driving up from Vernon.

Terry is going to invite the Acura Tech up to his place for the BBQ as well. Hopefully he will come.

Hello all

Leslie and I are sorry that we will miss this year's trip.

In fact we haven't even got the NSX on the road yet.

My cousin Allan Jack in Edmonton might make it if the snow has melted around his garage.

Thanks so much for letting me know, I was hoping to talk to you this year...lol.

Dan and Angie made it to Kelowna by 5 or so.
I'll leave here in the am maybe 6-7 with Brent and his girlfriend leaving calgary a little behind me in the Yellow turbo machine.
If i can sleep in, we will meet up here and go together, otherwise i will drive slow and they will catch me......550 hp, i guess so hey!
Catch you guys there.

Great pics! Never seen that many NSX in one place. Sorry to have missed it. Dont remember May or June - work went a little crazy, next year...

As for the rubber question, went with Falken 615s (wanted KU-36 but didnt not want to wait another 8 weeks before rears available).
