I need help buying a house

Sump pumps are only really needed if your house is built in an area with a high water table or if the property isn't graded to take surface runoff away from the foundation walls. Up here in Canada the only houses with sump pumps for the basements are the ones in low-lying areas, right around...

How Matrix Reloaded should have been - with an NSX

    Those are speed holes!

Forget the plane.. Will the helicopter take off?

Free body diagram? Free your mind, man! The real question is whether a rotating helicopter body would force air to move around it such that there is still movement of air past the blades! If the body has a CD of zero, the answer is obviously no go.

    G35 Coupe vs. NSX-T

RE: Bang for the buck, frankly, for basic performance, there are many alternatives with better bang for equivalent bucks. But when you compare it to other exotics, nothing else comes close. I would discourage using it as a daily driver but that's just my humble opinion. Make no mistake, it...

Get me started with BMW or maybe Lexus IS350!!!

I'm in an E90 335i sedan these days. Fantastic car. Might be outside the price range you set, but man, it's an incredible all-rounder. Great handling without an overly harsh ride, huge torque throughout the rev band without sacrificing drivability (even in the snow, with winter tires), great...

Graduated High School in 91 The Year of the NSX

Grats. I too graduated HS in 91. I remember reading about the NSX in the car mags in 1st year uni and I distinctly remember the first time I saw one.... a beautiful silver one while driving to school one morning. It was so low, so wide, so sexy. Truly there was nothing else on the road like...

    Honda test Acura NSX prototype

I'm late to the party but have been squinting at the pics in these threads, praying for a sliver to think it could still be mid-engined. Then I looked at this pic... There's something behind the front seats in the passenger compartment with them....and it's not an engine. :( RIP NSX, we...

    Could you care less?

Somewhere along the line in some peoples' minds "probably" became "prolly". Kills me to read it! Ah to come together in the spirit of anal retentiveness!

Just a heads up about an NSX for sale in Calgary-

Just another case of never listening to what a user car dealer says. I had one tell me "low mileage" (160k km) and had "original paint and no rock chips". They're just waiting for someone stupid to stumble in. It's early January. Wait until April/May, a number of cars will come out of...

    Model longevity

OK someone has to pick the nit: 1991-2005 = 15 model years. When I think of long model life I think of the Alfa Romeo Spyder too.

Integra with NSX tail lights WTF?

The blacked-out steel wheels really add to the p1mp factor.

Cars in same league as NSX ??

OK.... you said "performance", "reliability" and "cost of maintenance". You did not say "looks", "prestige", "engineering", "refinement", "bling", etc. You also did not say it had to be new nor still in production. For a new car, I would agree with a Cayman for performance and reliability...
