I missed an eBay auction for a 2005 PRESTINE black low miles. No bids on that thing at $55k. I got in touch with the seller and was told it was sold locally (Chicago) to a cash buyer. I snooze I lose!

I agree with them being a bit on the ugly side, however I think black GTRs hide lines very well. I read that Nissan purposely made the GTR heavy and piggish, meaning there was a method behind the madness.

Check database for all NSX owners in the city and surrounding areas, probably only 5, done. Lol. EDIT: Just saw how close they got to him, they got the license plate for sure. And I'm sure he didn't know there was a cop behind him when he passed the other NSXs, but then saw the lights flashing...

That's my question too, as well as can "WE" do our own maintenance. Not sure what the difference is or how it's documented or if it voids anything - probably does. Oh, and fluids alone are around $700 if you buy on your own. Point is, they are just so strict and also know what you are doing/did...

That's another thing and I think that's the main thing that drove me away. @ 18k miles you have to get all fluids changed at $1400+ :eek: @ 24k miles they say you have to change the brakes at $6k. :eek: Although this depends on how you drive of course, but eventually when you do do a brake...

Two guys I know have P cars (911 turbo) and GTRs. Maybe the GTR is their daily. Lol.
