I miss it sometimes, but I don't regret selling it. Circumstances in life change (Financial, Marital, Children etc), and sometimes that involves a change in car. Live life with no regrets, if you keep it great, if you don't you could always come back or try a different flavor of car!
Hey Eddie, I don't want to thread jack too much since this is about Lucas and his new car, but since I started getting into the track/auto-x scene a lot more, I want to find a car that is more economical to do that in. Also toying with practicality (being married does that to you) but I'm...
That's my former car I sold to Lucas. I'll miss her, but I know Lucas will take care of her real well, I could see the passion he had for the car.
Congrats buddy!
I have bought a lot of stuff off of Eric at Teknotik and I must say that he is probably the most honest sales person I have had the pleasure dealing with. Awesome prices (finally no getting gouged by American pricing/shipping) and timely delivery. He even questioned if I needed certain parts...
Yup clutch is fixed, went with an SOS 275. Also got the water pump and timing belt done along with a laundry list of seals and gaskets. Car feels great! Tracked it at Shannonville yesterday.
Some funny suggestions :)
I'm not going for 'rice' and there is nothing wrong with wanting the car to be louder just for the sake of it. I have a Comptech exhaust currently but was just wondering what options I have to make it a bit louder without having to go buy another exhaust again. I...
I'd like to do this on the cheap, so changing exhausts is out of the question right now.
I removed the oem intake resonator, and it did get louder, but will it be louder or quieter with a downforce intake scoop. I'm not looking for horsepower, just noises.
Ok I have asked my mechanic to order it in, hopefully it can get changed before my event! It's my first OTA event as opposed to just open lapping so I'm pretty excited to see how bad I am lol.
Is it dangerous for me to go to an open lapping session with a failed o2 sensor? I have a 1991 OBD1 so just the one sensor but not sure if I will have time to replace it prior to the event.
Thanks.
Ahhh I see. I will stay away for now, wouldn't want to affect the brake bias and potentially make braking worse. I'll move to stainless steel lines and maybe some bigger ducts up front to hopefully get rid of the mushy brake feel at extended track sessions.
I just got the SOS 275 clutch and flywheel kit installed and its great. I feel like I lost a little bit of the OEM clutch feel (or maybe its just super smooth because its new) but other than that I love it, and I can definitely feel the lightened flywheel, I'm currently trying to perfect my heel...
This might be an incredibly stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I have a 2004 Celica GTS with the TRD Front BBK which is apparently the stoptech st-40. Can they be retrofitted onto the NSX? I don't track the Celica it just came with them when I bought it used. I'm assuming this...
