Hate to bring up an ancient thread back from the dead, but add me to the list of people who will never see their clutch core refund.
- sent my core to Mark on October 2002!!!
- last email response I got from him was January 2003.
I've been sending reminder emails once a month since then, and...
Hey thats me! I think I was one of the first on this site to unfortunately experience the Exedy clutch. No matter what anyone tells you, that is NOT a streetable clutch in any shape or form. It did great on the track at NSXpo 2002 though...it was one of the big reasons I was leaving you in...
You guys mind if an ex-NSXer joins in the fun? (sold my '96 black/tan NSX for 2002 S2000).

Let me know if it's cool and I'll try to block off that date for Saturday (sorry, but Sunday is out of the question).

Neo -> The buyer was a really nice couple from Dallas and I do not believe they are registered on prime. However, I definitely mentioned this site to them a few times.
For anyone interested, I have some shots of my new ride here : http://www.mandeepsidhu.com/s2k/s2kmain.htm
The financial difference between a '96 NSX and a '02 S2k is actually pretty substantial. My NSX sold for $40-45K and I bought my S2k for $26K. 20 grand is quite a bit of extra cash in the bank if you ask me. Also, the gas mileage is better and the insurance is lower as well.
The S2k is...
Well, I sold my '96 black/tan this morning. If the IT industry wasn't in such bad shape, I would have rather cut off my arm than sell my car. But, as it stands, the car had to be let go.
The year and a half I owned the car went by so fast, but I enjoyed every mile of it! For my next car...
Price is clearly listed in post above (and on website)
Let me know if you still can't find it!

'96 Black/Tan NSX-T
Short gears, Dali swaybars, Ferodo/Axxis Ultimate brake pads, Bridgestone S-03s
Actually, I (and a few others) also used the Panther Plus pads and they squealed when braking and when not braking. So don't feel like you're the only one with this problem. Do a search and you'll find some others as well.
I took the Panthers off and only use them for track events...
I've broken down and had to make the hard decision to sell my dream car due to job instability.
- 1996 Acura NSX-T (black/tan)
- VIN# JH4NA118XTT000313
- Approximately 56K miles
- Asking price: $45K
- NADA bluebooks the car at $48K and there are well over $6K in upgrades professionally...
Ditto what CiaoBoy said. I use the Ferodo/Axxis on the street and switch to the Panthers for track events. It seems there isn't a one-size-fits-all kind of pad, so why not use a pad specific to your application? You get the best of both worlds this way.
