** Not sure what hinges cost but you could have them welded, then repaint them. Be sure to replace all of the rubber bumpers, before shutting it with any force again. The ones on my 92' are fine, I'm pretty sure it's NOT normal.

** I had the same problem AFTER the ccu unit was repaired. I removed the blower motor and dropped it off at a local motor repair shop. They checked the brushes and cleaned the contacts and tested it. That was last year and its worked perfectly since.

**I was suggesting that AFTER the next month, (if you can't fix it), send it to Briank, as a last resort. He's the best.

I always fill the oil filter 1/2 to 2/3 full before installing it. Seems to reduce oil pressure-up time. Been doing that for 35 years with great success.(no engine failures)

Just send it to the CCU Master- Briank. He can find the problem and fix it quickly at a reasonable cost.

Mine always stays exactly on the third white mark and never moves, regardless of outside temp.

You might want to seek out a local Prime member with TB experience, or pay an NSX mechanic, to come over and double check your work before reassembly.. It's a valuable skill to master (TB replacement). I'm sure you can do it, if you're very careful and double- triple check your work at each...

I didn't use a torque wrench the first time, but I tried to do them equally by "feel". I plan to use a torque wrench this time(9ft lbs right ?). It was on your suggestion(in another thread), that I bought the NAPA version this time. I'll try a little silicone grease as well. thanks.
