Had a great time today and am thankful for having had the opportunity.
Getting to drive the supercharged Imola home was an experience in itself. Thanks to Chris for that...
Here are some pics I took. I can provide full size with/without the plates wiped out, just ask.
This is what I was afraid of as well when I saw the earlier renderings. Thankfully its not the case.
I did find some humor in the mention of Jeff Gordon designing it. I can picture him now with a compass and a blank sheet of paper. :)
Rob is def the man to see. As unfortunate as the failure is, its a good time of year since you probably wouldn't be driving it much anyway. Parts can take a while to arrive.
Some people had spares last time, but you can pick them up pretty cheap at Walmart or Crappy Tire.
I'd just watch the Canadian Tire flyer every week from now till then to see if some go on sale again.
They are VERY usefull during a cruise.
Edit: There is a Motorola 43km(across an open field...
I may join in on this, for how long I'm not sure.
Also not sure about the BBQ but Ill bring cash anyway.
I found that polarizer I was telling you about Owen. If I don't come Ill give it to Chris for you.
Had a blast today again... About to lay back and watch a movie, but I got some teaser shots ready for now...
(crappy facebook versions for now, I'll host them on my own site when I get them all done tomorrow...)
Anyone have an issue if I show up solo for a bit just to hang out/take pictures?
Thought I'd be riding shotgun with Mr Imola, but he says hes working till 3.
Aluminumdream and I both looked that one over.
It was very clean with only a small gouge in the rear bumper.
They were asking too much for it then at 39k.
