It hurt when M3 went turbo but I could take that but I really wanted another great engine from Honda. Again I'm glad for the guys here that wanted FI and big HP numbers. Hopefully Honda will deliver and you guys all get one and are grinning year after year. I'm no longer interested in the new...
Sorry I've just lost all interest in it as going turbo just took all the heavy lifting out. I still like the hybrid idea. If it comes to light that it does rev 8k+ I'll be interested again.
How can I expect?? I don't anymore. While it wasn't confirmed turbo there was hope. Soon as I saw...
Well I was wrong. It's turbo. My dreams and hopes of high rev are probably dashed as well. Have to wait for further specs but it's like Honda is just saying "me too". How weak is the engine that it needs hybrid and turbo to compete. If it's not rated with at least 600hp with all that then...
More than likely Honda in underrating the motors on the RLX so that they seem very different from the NSX output. Also it's rated at 366hp not 380hp. What they didn't release were tq numbers which will tell the performance tell. Expect the NSX to have crazy tq numbers.
Agreed so that would put a 911CS at $180k and I can't see would pick it over a GT3 when apparently those can be had for $140k ( C/D tested one with a price of $142k). That 2.1 sec ass kicking at the track and the model is only a year old is really telling. Guess a GT3 would be needed to...
1. Regular NSX commanding 911 performance variant price ...seriously?
2. GTRs brand new are selling at under sticker so very much a bargain. Of course they've been out for several years and the 2015 is supposed to have a new drive train.
The NSX motors (all four) will be more powerful. Of course they chose overall efficiency over high power rating. That's what Honda does. I'm expecting the NSX to be 100hp higher than this but at close to 1000lbs lighter. Hoping to see a performance test soon and expecting the performance...
