Here are the details on my nsx. It does not have the snap ring issue.
Here are some of the services it has had over the last few years......
OEM Antenna motor was replaced in '03 due to being inoperable
New OEM Bose radio also put in '03
Interior OEM Bose Speaker amps have been repaired in '04
Driver door handle was replaced in '03, passenger side handle has SOS billet
lever fix.
Windshield molding was replaced due to shrinkage in '04
Trunk and glass hatch struts were replaced in '04
Aspirator fan was replaced due to being noisy in '04
A/C compressor, receiver & dryer replaced in '04
Main relay, fuel pump resistor, and ignition switch replaced in '04
Brand new OEM climate control unit replaced in '06
OEM NSX Honda Map Bag (behind driver seat) installed in '06
Science of Speed sight glass coolant tank installed in '06
Replaced TCS switch due to switch no longer lighting up in '06
New oil pan installed in '06
3M Clear Bra installed in '06
Replaced VTEC solenoid gaskets in '06
MAJOR 90K Service M/T Fluid, Clutch Fluid, Spark Plugs, Plug Tube Seals, Valve Cover Gasket, Brake Fluid, ALB Fluid, Coolant Replaced, Throttle Body Cleaning, FI Service, Valve Adjustment, Alignment was done in '04
MAJOR 135K Service M/T Fluid, Clutch Fluid, Spark Plugs, Plug Tube Seals, Valve Cover Gasket, Brake Fluid, ALB Fluid, Coolant Replaced, Throttle Body Cleaning, Valve Adjustment, Alignment, replaced belts in '06
MAJOR 161K Service in Aug 2007 - Timing Belt, tensioner, alternator belt, a/c belt, waterpump kit, thermostat, thermostat gasket, valve cover gaskets, tube seals, rear valve gasket, front valve gaskets, honda engine coolant, replaced uni-air-filter
MAJOR 161K Service in Aug 2007- New OEM Clutch Set, Clutch release bearing, Trans Fluid.
A/C Service in Feb 2008. Had a/c charged and retrofitted to R134.
Tires - Installed new Kuhmo ASX on rear in Nov 2007. Front tires are goodyear eagle F1 GSD3's with 70% tread remaining.
Problems: Occassionally there is a sporadic clunk coming from rear...had it checked out but could not locate the problem as it does not do it consistently.
Currently has 167K miles.
