2002 is the first year of the updated skin. Targa top, 3.2L engine, 6 speed manual, CD changer.
It's time for me to sell my NSX :< I'm the second owner, having purchased it from Lindsay Acura in Columbus, OH in the summer of 2006 after they bought it at auction from Honda Finance. It was coming off a 4 year lease on the east coast. It was offered by Lindsay Acura as an Acura-Certified vehicle, although I walked away from that in the final price negotiations, because the factory warranty was still in-force which would cover any unknown issues, and because I knew I'd put such low miles on the car. Yet is was nice no know that it had already cleared the certification hurdles.
It had about 18,500 miles on it when I bought it in 2006. It now has 24,500 miles. So you can see that's it's been a weekender at most - and only in pristine weather. The car is located in Cincinnati, OH.
No wrecks, no paintwork, no modifications - pure stock. Not raced. That's the way I bought it and that's the way it still is.
I'm 6'2". These aren't great cars for people over 6'. Driving it with the top on is not very comfortable at 6'2", so I never do it. That limits the eligible days in Ohio! I've thought about selling the car earlier, but then I've made the mistake of driving it! Oh well, this time I've decided to really do it.
The car isn't perfect, I suppose, but it's close. I just had a major service done by Source One in Goshen, OH - a regional NSX specialist: timing belt, water pump, belts, all fluids.
I paid cash and will sell for cash by wire transfer. Serious inquiries only, please. $52,000. email me at [email protected] .
If you want a really fun car to drive, a real "head-turner", the newer body style, a 6 spd, one that's pure stock, low miles, track-free, accident-free, and with the timing belt and water pump maintenance done (expensive) this just might be the NSX for you.
