6 speed Transmission (VIN JH4NA2169XT000183)
Hello All,
I have my OEM 6 speed transmission from my 1999 NSX. VIN JH4NA2169XT000183. The transmission has 38,000 miles on it. I just sold my car with the new 2005 transmission. I changed as my OEM needs to be rebuilt. This transmission is a great unit, but it did have the comptech 455 gearing go inside. I had quotes from local shops, Zahntech and Acura of Lynnwood for around $1700-2000. I also had a quote from SOS in AZ at around $2500. They said it just needs a few gears. It is perfect outside and looks like near new. It is clean and has not been abused in anyway. No stories with this transmission. I would be willing to let this one go for $1600 plus shipping. I would ship it in a high quality wooden crate to ensure there would be no damage. You will really feel the difference with the 6 speed. Please let me know if you are interested. Will fit all NSX cars for all years (but slight upgrading from a 5 speed needed). Selling from Seattle, WA.
