Well maintained 1996 NSX-T in exceptional condition, especially considering the mileage. Factory original with exceptions: leather covers replaced with custom fitted factory quality red & black coverings, NSX embroidered headrests, Zanardi floor mats, GROM Audio CD Changer Interface USB Adapter and polished wheels. Factory removable targa top, power steering, air conditioning, power locks & windows.
BACKGROUND:
ScienceofSpeed purchased this NSX from a customer after a low speed slide off a slick street caused the NSX to hit a curb at NSXPO. The customer's body shop, not being familiar with the NSX reported that the frame rail was bent and the insurance company issued a salvage title. The damage was extremely minor (ScienceofSpeed saw this car in person at NSXPO). Upon inspection on a laser alignment machine, ScienceofSpeed determined that the rail was not bent, but rather a bracket that attaches to the frame rail was bent. This bracket, the front bumper, and left side skirt were replaced. All other panels and paint are factory original. Both frame and wheel alignment were verified.
I purchased the car from Chris Willson with ScienceofSpeed, which was used as his personal vehicle. ScienceofSpeed performed a Pre-purchase inspection and a Post-purchase inspection was performed by Acura Certified Master Technician Mike Michalik with Suburban Acura in Farmington, Michigan. All mechanical items listed in the Pre/Post-purchase inspections were addressed and corrected. While in Michigan, this NSX-T was stored in a garaged 16’ Car Capsule for full protection during the winter. This car was recently relocated to the San Diego, California area.
