I have plenty of 30 round magazines for my AR, I even have a 100 rd mag. The law says you can't buy or sell high capacity magazines, but if you already owned them before it took effect, they are basically grandfathered. I have two A4 flattops that I still need to accessorize.

They need to be pre 1994 mags and you can't buy complete ones that are not in the state already. You can import magazine parts though.

Awesome setup Henry:smile: ...

I have a couple of guns

Ruger .357 Magnum 4" Barrel - Stainless
SKS .762x.39 - Imported by Navy Arms

Are'nt those 9mm mags. a blast to load up. If theres a speed loader for those shoot me a pm where to buy. Thank's.

Tie para-cord to the follower and run it out the bottom hole on the floor plate. Pull the paracord to depress the spring/follower.

I don't think i'll ever move out of the People's Republic of Kalifornia. It's home to me. Maybe the day they outlaw all firearms from CA, then I'll move. But it must be nice to be able to own all those toys. I bought my AR's in a neighboring state of Texas. To those that don't know, my ARs are registered with the CA DOJ, and yes they are postban.

Here are some pics of me and some buddies shooting up in big bear.

Guys or gals, this is kind of late, but how strong is this site? Couldn't someone take your city and your NSX registration and find you? As a long time ex-dealer, burglers "some how" find gun owners to burgle. Ask your local detectives. I'd love to particpate here, but I have been burgled at home, and it's not fun. Just a caution. Prisons now have a lot of bored inmates on the net (what a pansy country we have grown into). Happy shooting.

I originally shared your concern about this but I had already been "outed" by my regional newspaper. It seems that our area paper did a FOIL request of permit holders and printed all of our names and addresses. So much for privacy rights. :frown:

Big gun guy here. I have about 30 different firearms that include everything from antique/military/historic rifles and pistols, to modern-day semi-auto and tactical rifles and pistols. My two favorite shooting disciplines are IDPA matches and High-Power Service Rifle matches. Ready on the left! Ready on the right! All ready on the firing line! Fun stuff!

SWIFTVISION, in what caliber is your Stg/MP 44 chambered?

here's my 2)two legged guns: pre HK 91 and a bolt action 50bmg sporting an 11 shot clip - oops I mean magazine.

That gun fires a Cut down version of the 8mm round fired by the Kar98.

Im pretty sure its a 7.92x31 round.

The reason that I was asking SWIFTVISION is because some of them were rechambered after the fall of WWII Germany.

You can't get on the net in prison.

I would also suggest trying to rob one of my unarmed neighbors vs. the armed to the teeth guy.

So who here has a BAR? I know one of ya'll class 3's has one!! :) Still have a burn mark on my right hand from one of those suckers.

My contribution:
M1A. Single lugged, floating heavy stainless barrel on a fiberglass bedded stock. Built for me by one of the MTU armorers at Camp Lejeune (Stone Bay). Plus 5 lbs of melted buckshot in the stock to keep my 200, 300 rapid fire groups tight. The last time I used it was a long, long time ago. :frown:

Anyone do Camp Perry?

What do you guys think of this new firing system/gun:

Metalstorm is great in theory, but show me a handgun based on this technology. I'd like to know how you go about reloading, and how difficult is it to load magazines (when each round is seperated by propellant). Metalstorm just doesn't seem practical for small arms.

btw, keep the photos coming; this is an awesome thread!

As one of my mentors told me once, the best gunfight is the one you DON'T ATTEND. I'm still apprehensive. As a knowledgable ex-class III, I'm just thinking I'd find you from the nsx, stake the house with accomplices, jump you when leaving in the morning, bring safe crack equip and walla, no more NFA stuff. It happens all the time to dealers. In fact statistically (I'm told) dealers and enthusiasts get killed much more often, luckily I was NOT at home either time I was burgled. I'm pretty highly trained, but if they want you, they will get you. JMO and happy shooting. ps-did you see that Obama's Global Poverty Act recommends that all countries ban ALL SMALL ARMS. It's passed the house and sub-committee already. I don't know it's chances of senate passage since it costs 850B, but give him the white house, and few more seats and a self proclaimed mandate and we're in trouble.
