Anyone else have a '91 with a "special order" two tone interior?

One picture is my car (automatic), the other is another car (4 speed with red console)

I posted this query earlier, but probably put it in the wrong forum.
I was told that the factory did these special order custom interiors back in the day, but have been unable to confirm that. It just seems odd that there are 2 cars that have this elaborate color combination, unless there was someone doing custom work and duplicated the idea exactly on cars that are on opposite ends of the country...

Any help with this would be much appreciated - do we just happen to have a couple of customs, or did the factory do this? If this was a factory "option" it would be nice to know how many are out there.

Those look like replacement seats and door inserts found at leatherseats.com

I've been in the nsx scene since 1995...trust me your two cars just had the same mods by owner...

Taking a quick look, the "NSX" lettering look different on both, and one appears to have red stitching on the seats while the other does not.

Either way, they are both custom.

Those are after market Leatherseats.com replacements
there were no custom "special order" interior options in 1991.

Thanks everyone - it sounds like these are in fact custom jobs. I'll pass along the info on leatherseats.com to the other owner, who is looking to do a refurb.
